This application serves as a versatile platform for displaying user-generated recipes, functioning akin to a digital file card system tailored for culinary enthusiasts. Beyond basic recipe display, it offers functionalities such as menu planning, the creation of a favorites list, customizable food categories, and the ability to share recipes via email, text, and social media channels.

Users can input recipes into the application through various methods: by importing digital files created externally, scanning printed documents, or directly composing recipes within the app. Supported digital formats include plain and rich text files, PDFs, image files (JPG), and even HTML documents. Comprehensive guidelines for each type of input are available in the Help section. For users composing recipes on iPhone or iPad applications like Pages or Notes, conversion to PDF format is straightforward and facilitates easy integration into the app. The built-in scanning feature allows users to digitize printed recipes seamlessly, while a dedicated editor is provided for crafting and saving new recipes within the app.

Recipes can be organized into user-defined food categories such as Breads and Appetizers, which can be accessed conveniently through a scrolling button interface. Selecting a category enables users to view a specific recipe with a single click or download a document containing all recipes within that category.
